Finding warmth and comfort in the hewed wood
colors that surround you.

We are located in the middle of the Beautiful Black Hills. Our location is prime for your peaceful evenings and roughly five to twenty minutes away from nearly any attraction you'd like to visit during your vacation. The cabins are far enough away from the highway that there's hardly a whisper in the distance, and conveniently close to the West Dam for fishing. For your convenience, we also leave some poles and general tackle for a peaceful evening of fishing the trout, bass, and perch trout. You're across the road from a peaceful 9-18 hole golf course with beautiful landscape.
All amidst the beautiful pine, birch, and aspen trees.

It is not at all uncommon to see the white tail deer wandering to the dam for a drink or passing through the open field near the cabins, or even wild turkey. Elk have also been spotted wandering about the thick woods.
We are in the midde of the Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

Location makes it private, yet it's easy to enjoy a walk, hike or bike by taking the short county road, Wazi Lane which crosses French Creek. About 1/4 mile north to where you'll find a wonderful sidewalk running adjacent to East Highway 16, and well kept by the State, it goes all the way to and through Custer State Park. From your cabin you can shortly arrive at beautiful nearby attractions or just go shopping or out for dinner.
Try the World Famous Mickelson Trail. The very same route the railroad used to ship in goods and out gold! It put to rest the brave Pony Express, who delivered mail into the town of Custer until telegraph lines and railroads "modernized" the treacherous routes the young men rode to get the mail through! The Train itself can be viewed and ridden in Hill City, 10 miles north is the old 1880 Train.
I can help you locate and reserve bicycles if you'd like.

Brenda,
We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It was everything we were looking for. Very homey and comfortable. Since it was central to everything we wanted to see and do, we were able to have quiet evenings to relax at 'home' after sightseeing.
Thank you!
